The TN Board of Pharmacy is instituting changes related to data collection for all permit application and renewal forms to collect compounding information for resident and non-resident pharmacies.  Inspections will be prioritized based upon the types of compounding done by permit holders.  A Task Force, consisting of Board staff and membership, is currently reviewing all current laws and regulations relative to compounding and will present its first report at the Board’s January 2013 meeting.

The Tennessee Pharmacists Association (TPA) recently completed a state-wide survey of members and pharmacists about various proposed legislative actions.  The survey results are available by contacting TPA.
